ILA President Richard P. Hughes, Jr, (at right) and ILA Vice President Kenneth Riley surround ILWU President Bob McEllrath and accept historic poster during the 2009 ILWU Convention held in June in Seattle, Washington. The poster, signed by all four living presidents from the ILWU, commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the West Coast longshore union. Both Hughes and Riley addressed delegates to the ILWU Convention where both ILA officials pledged continued solidarity between the ILA and ILWU.
